CHRONIC PAIN & ILLNESS COUNSELING

Kelsey utilizes a positive strengths-based approach to counseling with individuals experiencing chronic pain and chronic illness. Kelsey teaches you about the importance of the mind-body connection and how to cope and manage your symptoms with this in mind. Kelsey uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & CBT in order to help decrease symptoms while increasing quality of life and functioning. ACT and CBT have been shown to benefit individuals experiencing chronic health issues in multiple ways. Kelsey also offers brainspotting, which has been shown to be a very beneficial intervention for chronic pain. More about brainspotting here.
